Videos and articles to help you along your journey of building a custom home.
Hello, everyone! It's TJ here, bringing you another exciting episode in our "Parade of Homes" series. In the previous episode, we gave you a sneak peek into the kitchen design of our Fall Parade home. This time, we're shifting our focus to another vital part of the home - the master bathroom, where we are adding some intricate details to the shower area. Let's dive in!
Today, we are at our parade home, specifically in the master or primary bathroom, where we are giving special attention to the tile work. While tiles are being used in various parts of the house, the master bathroom has a unique feature that sets it apart - heated floors. Before we delve into the details, let's talk about the shower area, which is still under construction but shaping up nicely.
One of the details that often gets overlooked is the positioning of the shower controls. These controls, which manage the water's temperature and flow, are traditionally placed at the center of the shower area. However, this means that you have to step into the shower to turn it on, risking getting splashed with cold water. To avoid this, we have strategically placed the controls closer to the entrance, allowing you to adjust the water temperature before stepping in, enhancing the overall shower experience.
When it comes to designing a shower, the choices are endless. From the type of shower head to the kind of tiles used, every element can be customized to suit your preferences. In our parade home, we have incorporated not just a regular shower head but also a rain head positioned at the top, offering a luxurious shower experience.
The cost of tiling a bathroom largely depends on the type of tiles you choose. Tiles can range from a dollar per piece to twenty dollars, significantly impacting the overall cost. Similarly, adding heated floors is an additional cost but elevates the comfort level, especially during the colder months. At Sanctified Homes, we believe that the cost of your house is determined by the choices you make, allowing you to have a significant say in the materials and features that go into your home.
We are eagerly looking forward to showcasing the finished product at the Fall 2023 Parade. We believe that the final look of the bathroom, especially the shower area, will be nothing short of amazing. To witness the transformation and the craftsmanship that goes into building a Sanctified Home, make sure to grab your tickets for the event.
